Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Long ago, there was once a world renowned minstrel who captured all the peoples hearts with his music. Unfortunately, he was a frail creature who fell deathly ill at a young age and died. Thus, a group of magicians gathered underneath the light of a full moon in an attempt to cheat death and revive the songbird. However the soul of the musician came back instead as a male silver dragon. Confused and scared at having been pulled from the nebulous realm of the afterlife, the dragon burnt the magician's tower to the ground and flew far away over the mountains. Now, he roams the country side stricken and destitute, for he is neither man nor beast but a monstrous mixture of the two. However, he still retains his artistic capabilities and thus is apt to sing and dance away his frustrations by the light of the moon. Though the other dragons believe him to be retarded because he can't speak their language, they watch his performance in secret because it is so hauntingly beautiful.
