Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zemo schwarzgolden is generous, just, kind, and easily touched by other people's or dragons' misfortunes. He is timid by nature. Though mild in disposition, Zemo never yields under pressure. It is impossible to force him to do something. When coerced, he will behave in an intransigent way, and when challenged in an argument, he will remain silently angry rather than repeat his opinion or show his displeasure. Zemo get's annoyed when others mistake him for a Gold dragon instead of a Golden Wyvern, especially when hunters want to kill him for this sole reason to get his beautiful scales. Usually his clan protects rare dragons who are targeted by such enemies, but Zemo has proven to protect himself just fine. Zemo is exceptionally strong because of his magical skills. Zemo can merge a small part of his soul into objects or living beings in order to take control of them, with the subject essentially becoming an extension of his soul, his victims are aware of who possessed them though.
