Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dee has always been very protective of others, which is something he picked up from his father. He has a very strong idea of what's right and wrong, but because he can be very impatient, he tends to get angry quickly when he sees another dragon doing the wrong thing.

After he had just grown his wings, his father brought a new egg to the cave. This one was made of gold and looked very beautiful. All dragons wanted to see it so bad they almost trampled it. Luckily Dee was fast enough and saved the egg from being squashed. Ever since then he has felt a great responsibility for the egg and later for the little dragon Ryo who came from the egg.
