An almost strictly nocturnal breed, Ciriax Lindwyrms are especially attuned to the moons’ cycles. They spend nights patrolling the edges of their territory, aggressively fending off intruders while they feast on their prey. After two or three nights of feeding, often around the time of at least one full moon, Ciriax Lindwyrms retreat to the recesses of their cave or underground homes. These dragons make it particularly difficult to travel on nights that are well-lit by moonlight, often to an unsuspecting adventurer’s dismay.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

When a benevolent king found himself presented with the difficult task of deciding which of his two sons would become his heir, he devised the Dragon Challenge, in which both of his sons would be tested by impartial judges. These judges were Stockton of the Mountain and Smullyan of the Wood. Above all, Smullyan believed that a proper king needed to posses a logical mind, otherwise they would not be able to be just and fair when solving the dilemmas of the people they governed. For that reason, he devised his challenge to test the wisdom of the two brothers, as well as their ability to reason. He presented both of the princes with a thought-provoking riddle and then challenged them to answer the riddle. In addition, they also had to explain how they'd arrived at the answer they'd come up with. Smullyan, viewing himself as the pinnacle of wisdom and logic, felt that the prince whose answer and reasoning was closest to his own would be the one best suited to become the king's heir.
