White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nuada, while a capable all-around healer dragon, specializes particularly in regeneration of damaged body parts. He took his human name from a Celtic hero whose lost hand was replaced by one of silver. He has been known to help humans regrow even arms or legs, and once regenerated Ogoun's badly-broken wing after a training exercise gone horribly wrong. He even helped Ariadne regrow her damaged vines after a herd of moose, drunk on her fruits, had stampeded across her. He often experiments using plants or animals, and has a herd of reasonably contented, but odd-looking cattle, some of whom have up to six or eight legs. (When it comes time to cull the herd, however, the other dragons report that even the funny-looking ones are "still tasty".)
