White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cyril is a member of the Ribbonwing family, a group of dragons whose magic grows and wanes with the seasons, from their absolute minimum at the summer solstice when they are hardly able to heal a simple cut to the height of their power come the yuletide night when they can perform regular miracles.

Cyril is a regular dreamer and he absolutely believes that one of his ancestors managed to actually bring a dragon back to life during Valkemare's longest night once. He uses the long summer months of weak magic to study all the healing spells and ancient wisdom he can find, hoping to one daynbsp;nbsp;be able to recreate that miracle. No one knows if he'll ever be able to actually reach his goal but his studies certainly have made him the most capable healer in his family.
