Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hovah and Azbiz came towards the clan as hatchlings. The two young dragons had travelled through the wilderness together for years, having lost all mementos and even memories from loving parents, only relying on each other in their plights and terrible experiences.

So when they finally reached a community of dragons where every breed was welcome and treated the same no matter what kind of family background or past experiences they had, both dragons decided to settle down.

Hovah was very cautious, the long years in the wilderness and escaping so called "dragon owners" had made him very pessimistic. But in the end he decided to trust his sister's judgement and give the clan a chance—at least for the time being. Even after having lived with the clan for some time now, Hovah still wakes up from nightmares from time to time, and he leaves his cave, checking in on Azbiz who still lives nearby. If the clan ever turned on them, Hovah would be ready, and he would lead Azbiz away to safety.
