Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. She loved to sit and watch life pass by, contentment in her breast and a coy smile upon her lips, she lived for the moment only. Things that others often ignored she observed and recorded in her memory, like when the kind being snuck into and out of the cave, leaving behind new little eggs to care for that the others puzzled over for hours.

Or the time the strange creature ran through the clearing avoiding the vines and traps guarding it, these she watched and knew, laughing over the quick rush when the others went to view the strange foot prints the unknown creature had left behind.

It was good to view the world and watch the scramble when some event took place that set the other dragon's to questioning and guessing what had happened while she held the truth in her heart in joy!
