Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aurora Borealis on Midnight Sky (Midnight) is a nocturnal hunting dragon. He is often seen by the lake at night, staring into the stars. He seems to have a fascination with Shadow's wings, possibly because they reflect the stars as well. He is always calmly curious, seeking knowledge about things he doesn't know about and sometimes getting into trouble doing so.
