Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As you walk through the forest, you come upon a huge clearing.  It is full of tall grass that looks very much like the ocean, and a Skywing dragon is circling overhead.  As a skywing, he is almost literally a piece of sky, wheeling around with the clouds and birds.  But he has a look in his eyes.  A sad look.  Many a time, he has been forced to watch his children die because the ancient code of dragons did not permit him to help.  This is why he will never catch the young animals on his territory. Instead, he scares them off, and he would never even dream of eating eggs from a nest.  His only escape from his sadness is the sky, and so he flies.

The skywing starts flying closer to you, so you leave the clearing.  As you run away, you feel a great sadness for all young ones of every species of animal who have died so small.
