Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zwarte Strijder was found huddled around a light pink egg warming it with her body heat in the Northern Forest. She had protected it from the predators of the wild with all her small might. After the egg hatched the new hatchling took the name of Roze Minnaar. And they were inseparable, they always played together, ate together and slept kitten-curled in a corner of the hatchling cave. And when the two reached adulthood they pledged to be First Mates for life.

Zwarte Strijder is true to her warrior nature and leaves for quests with the rest of the Blood Bonded. Yet she feels the call of the hearth and home sooner than the rest and finds herself turning toward home and her love that much sooner.
