Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sapphire Bluefin is quiet and shy. She likes to lie on rocks that are high enough that the spray from the ocean just tickles her fins. Sapphire will spend hours perched on her chosen rock, observing the beauty of the ocean. She will also line her rock with seaweed to make it comfortable. But, when it's time for her pod to move, she will linger at the back and daydream.
