Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

My Boy Luke is a charming young dragon who was found as an abandoned egg early in the establishment of the Marble Cup Cavern. Growing up, he was loud and confident and was clearly secure in himself, and as he grew into his adolescence he made no secret of the fact his preferences lay with other males, not females as was more usual. As he matured he became attached to an older dragon, Koun Sila, and though Sila was at first shy at revealing his own sexuality, through Luke's love and support he worked up the confidence to tell the rest of the dragons. The relationship between the two dragons was fully supported by the rest of the clan, and it has remained strong and steady since it first began.
