It’s an undead baby dragon, produced by a failed magical spell. It probably would be cute if it weren’t partially decayed.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The Green Gurgle is the elder of the two Zombie dragons. His brother, The One Who Eats Bunnies, were born with birth defects that made them weak and susceptible to diseases. Gurgle died at the hand of Warrior's blade because his suffering was too much for her to bear. Warrior put him out of his misery, but to her surprise, he came back as a Zombie dragon instead. No matter what Gurgle is, he is still well loved by all his draglings and Warrior herself.
