Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Firenze is generally soft-spoken and thoughtful, though he can have a dreadful temper when pushed too far. An apt magic-user, his most prized spell is one that allows him to assume the guise of a human being. In this form he enjoys walking the streets of the human city of Fiorza. Firenze is fascinated by human gadgets and greatly enjoys talking to the brightest intellectual minds of Fiorza.

Firenze's greatest desire is for a dragon-mate who shares his love for inventions and gadgets, but so far he has been able to find none. Still, Firenze is certain that he will find the right dragon-girl someday.
