Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

There is some controversy about whether paper dragons think or are actually alive, but Flight of Fancy doesn't let this bother her. She loves to play with the hatchlings in the cave. One game she likes is to let the hatchlings bounce her into the air and not let her touch the ground. With her flying ability, no hatchling ever has to lose this game. Another game she likes is to tie a string to her tail and let the hatchlings fly her like a kite. Even the smallest can get her to do amazing aerobatics. Her favorite thing is to soar on the thermals high above the clouds where the only sound is the rush of the wind.
