Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wu'Ran fancies herself the queen of all arachnids. She loves spiders of all kinds: big and small, harmless and venomous, web-weaving or wandering, she is fond of them all. Her lair is decorated with spider webs and is carefully furnished to make it the perfect home for her eight-legged friends. Wu'Ran loves to show off her impressive collection of live spiders to her clanmates, and she often educates the clan's hatchlings about the wonderful world of arachnids.

She is also very fond of knitting; rumor has it that each winter she knits teeny tiny socks for her spiders to help them stay warm during the cold parts of the year. Outside of her obsession with arachnids, Wu'Ran is well-known for her indecisiveness when it comes to picking mates -- this has led to her assembling a sizeable harem of boyfriends for herself.
