Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows brightly, and seems to prefer warm areas.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Avi is a rather sweet hatchling. She loves to cuddle up with anything that she can. Other dragons more familiar with Ember dragons are a little surprised at her behavior, but believe it is a result of being lost at such a young age from her parents. Because of Avi's sweet nature, she is the darling of the adults in the Cave who go out of their way to make sure that she is kept safe.
