Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

By day Lu is one of the most self-confident dragons in Kanaye's cave. He is bold and brash and can make anyone, no matter how grumpy or serious, laugh at his antics. He is somewhat of a social butterfly, flitting to different groups, joining in whatever conversation he can. However, at night he is a different dragon entirely. All of his insecurities come crashing down on him and he hides away from anyone who may see him. He fears the moon most of all. The sun is bright and shows everything in equal light. The moon is selective though, picking and choosing what she wants to show. Under the moon, his faults would be exposed for all to see.

This is why he loves Keridwen, the moon poet, so much. She must have no faults, perfection, for why else would she bask in the moonlight that he cowers from. Opposites in every way, one in their glory during the day, the other at night, maybe this is why their relationship has lasted for so long.
