Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Chikyuuno Kaa is the dragon amongst the Gathering who originally created the cave. She occasionally uses her power over the Earth to expand the cave if needed and she also goes on hunts with some of the other dragons during the day. Her name is Japanese for "Mother of the Earth". Some hatchlings who can't quite say her name call her "Chi" or "Mama Chi".
