Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

One of the eldest vampires of the clan along with Caillaud, Maurice is the undisputed leader of them due to seniority, experience and proven leadership abilities.

Most of his policies are based on the pact between the two original vampires and the clan, where the vampires are granted shelter, blood from fresh kills, blood reserve for emergencies, and fresh blood from living clan members when consent is given. In return, he is responsible for keeping all vampires in check, which basically means no forceful blood-drinking on unwilling clan members, drinking fatal amount of blood from consenting clan members or biting eggs without the clan leadership's permission. Given the less-than-pleasant nature of some vampires, it is an understandably difficult job that is only made possible with the high level of respect Maurice enjoys, which translates into actual support by a majority of the vampires through self-discipline and vigilance toward fellow vampires.
