Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zahag identifies as female and has done so since before her wings grew in. She can't even point out what is especially female about her; after all she isn't as aggressive and dominating as a Hellfire's ideal of a dragoness nor is she as ready to let herself be dominated by a male as a good Sunstone dragoness would. It's really difficult to even define what's truly "feminine" in a multi-breed draconic society but one thing is for sure, Zahag isn't just a confused male; she is female and proud of it. She often spends time with Julia, Idili, Knot, Victor(ia), and other dragons of the clan with similar back stories as herself in a small group called "Circle of Vixen's Heart" where they share experiences, play games, and support each other whenever it is needed.
