Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Snape de Slytherin is a grouchy young hatchling who always seems to be in everyone's business. He is always checking on what his close friend, Little Luck, is doing and it bothers his friend greatly. Snape also has a very large vendetta against a hatchling named Nargos because he stole his true love, Asinselle Charcoal. Every day, Snape is forced to see the two together, lovingly cuddling up.

Despite his melancholy personality, Snape has a very loyal and loving heart, and he is utterly devoted to his friends and relatives. He would also never stray from conduct and hurt his enemies either, even though he will pick a fight or two once in a while.
