White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Winterpoem Flaeroles is the cave's healer. As such a valuable member, she is kept closely confined, and decidedly sheltered. Consequently, she is largely outside of the cave hierarchy and does not play a major role in the cave's society. Due to what was probably an accident when she was a hatchling, her personality is like that of a young child. She is friendly and likes to talk, but doesn't always make much sense. She's shy around strangers. Sometimes, though, taken in retrospect, her confused meanderings seem garbled warnings or premonitions.
