Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

1st Prize is a great warrior, fierce and physically perfect.  She was raised in isolation by her father, who filled her head with dreams of power and corruption. He had been planning on using her for his schemes, from the day she hatched.  One day she met Pine, a Terrae of ordinary stature, and the two became best friends.  Pine brought her out of the stupor her father had put on her, and together they banished him from the land.  Pine then brought her to the Opal Woods, where she now lives quite happily.
