Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
Phantasma Phantom is one of the shyest dragons in Niva's Cave. Often blending in with the shadows, he is hardly ever seen in the cave. Due to the fact that he hides so much, many of the dragons in the cave forget he is there, causing him to feel lonely when they don't recognize him. The only dragons that have ever remembered he was there were the hatchlings.
One day when he was about to mature, he went to Queen Niva and asked to be a hatchling forever, since the hatchlings could remember him. Taking pity on him, Queen Niva cast the spell, and let him be young forever.
Now Phantasm Phantom often spends time with Queen Niva, helping her with her tasks of getting new eggs, and also playing with the new hatchlings.
