Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Wareti first met Bluby, she was quite confused when the male told her that she made him feel "pina colada". But Wareti is a curious dragoness who doesn't get frightened or turned off by the strange and unusual, instead she got curious and spent tons and tons of time with Bluby to understand the other Royal Blue and his unique form of synaesthesia better. And the longer she spent time with him, the better she liked him, until one day she could truthfully tell him "you make me feel pina colada, too".
