Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Shugosha was the son of a knight and, according to rumor, a princess as well. The latter was not true, but the scamp enjoyed using the title of prince all the same, threatening "declarations of war" and "trips to the dungeons" in order to frighten off bandits and rogues without having to resort to violence. His father, honorable and affectionate as he was, approved of the intent but often bemusedly questioned the methods. Yet his elder brother Naito always supported him in these efforts and in everything else, the two the closest of companions from childhood to adulthood.

Thus it was that when Shugosha found the love of his life--a shimmerscale as playful as she was benevolent--he was ecstatic to introduce her to his brother, both halves of his life becoming one.

Until he discovered Naito had already met her. And fallen for her.

The bitterness of that truth began to draw thin cracks in the bond that had long held so strong, and Shugosha worries nothing will ever be the same...
