Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Copper Nuria the Halo was found by Ember Nuria, in the Black Forest. The Black Forest loomed in the craggy hills overlooking the salt tides; the beach on which Ember found Salter Nuria. As Salter grew, he wanted a playmate, and begged Ember to search the beach for one of his kind. He flew her there, but she scoured the shore in vain. It was growing dark, so Ember decided to rest in the forest on one of the many cliffs surrounding the beach. In the middle of the night, she awoke to Salter bellowing at a strange creature. The dragon-like monster was shiny and smooth, but its crooked teeth and jagged wings told her it was not friendly. She leaped onto Salter's back, and they bolted away. As they flew back to Elgar, Copper showed her an egg he found before the creature attacked them. Ember raised the egg, and despite his snappy outside, the little dragon was sweetheart. Copper grew to love his home in Elgar, and eventually moved to Saltus Tres, the forest discovered by the trio.
