Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon belongs to a breed long believed to be extinct. His breed was known to live long, even by dragon standards, and to change their appearance and personality from time to time, mimicking other breeds. Although he never tells someone his real name, he is known to the dragons of the clan as "The Grumpy Grandfather". This title fits him very well—at least for now—as he often gets impatient with younger adult dragons but clearly cares for any hatchling.

Despite his slightly grumpy demeanour, he has a mischievous side to him and a lust for life and adventure that's pretty atypical for members of his species. This shouldn't surprise anyone who knew that the Albino face he wears is his first one—making him quite young despite any appearance to the contrary.
