Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Gold Leaf Scout was immensely pleased with himself. The autumn trees landscaping the manor house were, in his not so humble opinion, the most beautiful in the land. Although any time he was responsible for creating the autumn season in his territory, he felt it to be vastly superior to all other places.<br/>As the dragon lounged in a pile of bright gold and maroon, he knew his human was somewhere close by, enjoying the fall he had created for her.<br/>As if summoned by his thoughts alone, the woman rushed by, followed closely by a frozen magi hatchling chirping happily at her heels. The seasonal dragon didn't bother moving since she was gone just as quickly and he knew she would come back and lavish adoration on him for the lovely weather later.
