Turpentine Dragons are named for the oil that covers their scales. This oil resembles turpentine in odor and is mildly toxic; it will not kill but it burns to the touch and will cause illness in anyone who ingests it. Turpentine Dragons roam in large packs, often stealing food from larger dragons, though they are able to hunt for themselves if necessary. Many other breeds consider Turpentine Dragons to be pests, so they primarily breed among themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The daughter of a watch dragon and the clan's treasure hunter, Spicy Honey is a sly, playful, and crafty dragoness, whose only fault of her allure is her breed.

She can see why her kind can be seen as pests and does her best to distance herself from her younger brothers and sisters. It is all in the hopes of one day finding acceptance outside the clan.

She travels alone, hunts her own food, and tries to strike up some conversation whenever she can with the local humans and dragons she comes across in far off places.

This has lead to some very strange outcomes. Sometimes she'll be chased away by a pitchfork if she was in a spot her mother had ransacked. She has learned to avoid such places, but it takes some good reasoning and detective work to make sure she stays off her mother's path of destruction. Another time she decided to visit a Kingdom's Capital and was gifted an acid resistant bag she could strap to her belly for more travels to her stories on her quest for acceptance.
