Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. A gentle, maternal creature, Vixias seems to care little that her beauty could grant her a life of ease, preferring to spend her days helping the sick and poor rather than being preened and fussed over in the display room of some rich noble. Rather fascinated by the morning sun, she can frequently be seen blinking up at the heavenly light, or peeking at it through a protective veil of glass or fabric. When not engaging in either of these activities, she can often be found coiled up in the sunlight, lost in a good book, which her human friends help her turn the pages for.
