Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A young fortune teller, April shrouds herself in shadows and mysteries to keep business coming.  No one wants their fortune told by an ordinary dragon, so April is careful to keep any and all details about her life hidden from public view.  Her friends, her past, her loves and losses -- if she has any of this, it's unknown to any but her.  Many believe that she simply sprang into existence one day, a shadow of darkest night given form by some mischievous god.  When questioned, the only answer she'll give is the tiniest of smiles, a twinkling eye, and an invitation into the small, incense-filled cave she calls home.
