Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

No one is exactly sure why The 86th is named as such.  Dragons who couldn't contain their curiosity approach him on it; he simply gives a rather frightening, screeching cackle, before lumbering off, presumably to return to searching for his beloved mate, Blizzard Dancer of the Yule, who is rarely seen in Preto Osso's territory.

Despite his undeniably menacing laugh, he hides a remarkably gentle and loving side underneath his gruff exterior; after all, his clan-mates say, the elusive Snow Angel wouldn't have chosen such an unremarkable male for her life-mate otherwise. He brushes these claims off as silly, claiming instead that Blizzard chose him because the oil his skin produces 'makes snow-rafts much quicker', though his cackle and wink that follows tends to leave the dragons unconvinced.

Most of his children seemed to have inherited their mother's penchant for wander-lust, and rarely stay in the clan with 86th, though this has never bothered him.
