Sawtooth Dragons are stealthy hunters that have mastered the element of surprise to attack prey from both above and below. They are born and reside deep in the jungle, stalking swamps and hunting anything that moves until their wings are large enough to sustain them in flight, after which they leap into the air to soar through the treetops and dive at their unsuspecting victims. The Sawtooths’ long jaws are almost unrivaled in strength, with serrated teeth and a bite so powerful they can crush even large mammals—their primary food source.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Crocodoofus is a professor of Fundamental Questions at Seven Questions University. She is studying what "a dragon head" looks like. She has examined all sorts of variables, from snout length and horn shape to eye count and width-to-height, and come to the conclusion that just about any shape should be appropriate for the head of a dragon. Even animalistic heads, like her own gharial-like cranium, seems to be perfectly fine. So, when a small, invisible dragoness came insisting her entire species was getting banished to an alternate reality because their heads were "not draconic enough", Crocodoofus was flummoxed. She has decided that if the pygmy's story is true, the gods must be crazy, because she couldn't imagine any head less draconic than her own. Or perhaps there is one god with problems who has overused divine power, while most deities couldn't care less. Whatever the case, she wishes greater supernatural entities would be more clear with their communication.
