Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

NOT ENOUGH BANANAS is allergic to lowercase letters. When he comes across a sign with lowercase writing, he starts wheezing and hives spring up all over his face. His flockmates often come to the rescue and carry him away from the allergenic characters, because it's against the rules to steal a banana when someone is having a serious medical emergency unless they're in one of the designated "danger zones" or Death Ogre (the local white dragon) is within 11.3 meters of the impacted individual. Some of them get annoyed at his allergy attacks, especially if they were about to steal a banana from him when it hits. Much signage uses all-caps common script (with the Gs missing due to ALL the G's and Yuck G) and dacrune (likewise devoid of gul runes) which doesn't have capitalisation, because BAeNE attacks all the lowercase 'e's she finds. NOT ENOUGH BANANAS tries to avoid parts of the Madder Jungle with good signage, but when trying to steal bananas, he can't help but follow the fruit.
