Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. You find it odd that the hatchling doesn’t move at all during the day, but at night its colors change and it is full of energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Aorimel is the most laid-back and easy-going of the Junior Nocturne Guards.  Nothing seems to faze him very much, and as a philospher at heart, he's full of wise words to fit any occasion.  Aorimel has a tendency to get lost in thought while out on patrol, making it easy for criminals to evade him, which is why Kowt and Aafcien always make sure to pair him with someone more reliable.
