Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Ancient and powerful, this magnificent creature serves as the guardian of a massive river system. Any who travel on his waters and see him spiraling in the heavens high above know their journey is blessed, the Silver endlessly patrolling his domain and driving away any man, dragon, or spirit that would do evil there. Some believe he is the spirit of the river itself, and leave him offerings and gifts accordingly, but he has never let their reverence make him aloof; surprisingly gentle despite his strength and size, he can often be swimming just under the surface of the water on days when no threats loom, gently nudging against boats and returning tired swimmers to shore.
