An almost strictly nocturnal breed, Ciriax Lindwyrms are especially attuned to the moons’ cycles. They spend nights patrolling the edges of their territory, aggressively fending off intruders while they feast on their prey. After two or three nights of feeding, often around the time of at least one full moon, Ciriax Lindwyrms retreat to the recesses of their cave or underground homes. These dragons make it particularly difficult to travel on nights that are well-lit by moonlight, often to an unsuspecting adventurer’s dismay.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Many villagers tell a story of a dragon who is very nice while others tell stories of another who is vicious. Many don't realize that they are talking of the same dragon. Jeckell is a calm, well-mannered dragon who would rather make peace with the villagers than cause trouble. He's often seen relaxing by a lake in the daytime and hunting for the odd fish. He doesn't eat much for his size.

When the sun sets Jeckell goes to sleep and the other side of this two-headed dragon awakens. Hyde is always out for trouble. Hovering over the village rooftops and eating the local livestock. He'll eat an entire flock of sheep if left undisturbed which explains why Jeckell is never very hungry.

For now the villagers don't know the horrible truth of the twin-head and even let their children play with Jeckell as he often catches fish for them. No one knows how long the two heads can manage to co-exist like this, but the villagers' patience with Hyde is growing thin.
