Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

One cold winter's night, snowflakes flitted down from the pale, fluffy clouds, painting the world a dazzling white, while deep in the caves of dragon-keepers, a she-dragon with scales of bronze lay in her ivy laden grotto. She was named Bronze Ivy, for she loved to dress herself from head to tail with bright green stalks of her favorite plant, and had just laid a single gleaming egg that radiated the warmth of life in its earliest stage. Proud to be a new mother, she took great care of her new egg. When the egg at long last hatched, every dragon of the clan seemed to stop and stare. What a beauty this newborn dragon was! Never had such a majestic beast been seen before. Under her mother's wing, she grew, until it was time to leave the clan. She spent days and nights traveling, until she chanced upon a new home, where she was welcomed with love. She eventually became ruler, crowned in ivy garland reminiscent of her mother's. With great pride, she took on the title of The Bronze Queen.
