Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Despite her appearance, Raindrops on Roses is anything but girly, and whoever assumes that she is will be in some serious trouble! Rain, as her friends call her, has a ferocious spirit, and if she gets into a fight, it will more than likely end in injury, so the best plan of action is to avoid her when she's in one of her less favorable moods. The reason for this may be that, by dragon standards, Rain is still a teenager, and a particularly rebellious one as well. Angel'sHuntress hopes that she will mellow out a bit as she ages, because Rain's deceptive looks would make her an excellent spy, since she won't be agreeing to join the warriors any time soon. This decision will ultimately be Rain's, but many of the older dragons are eager for her to get out of their scales.
