Shallow Water Dragons are found in tropical regions where the water is warm. They use their magic to hunt, using bubbles to capture small fish and animals. Their large, webbed feet make them excellent swimmers and they are able to move at very high speeds. Due to their bright color, these dragons are easily spotted in the lagoons where they live.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Named after the enchanted shores around the lagoon where she lives, this Shallow Water is nothing short of spectacular. While her species are good swimmers that spend a lot of time in the water, Morgul prefers to lie in a dip in the sand. The gently sloping sides of the dip cause water to trickle in when the wind is strong enough to cause waves, creating a comfortable place to sit around. Her scales, cleaned and shined with oil regularly, sparkle in the light like the jewel fragments that make up the sand. Her striking appearance tends to attract other dragons, mainly males, to whom she chirps and whistles cheerily, inviting them to play. She can be seen with a companion almost every day, for she makes friends easily and can become quite the romantic in a fairly short amount of time.
