Bright-Breasted Wyverns are a breed of dragon easily recognized by their bright red markings. They are a small breed, only the size of a full-grown man. However, they have developed poisonous barbs on their feet to make up for their size. Their coloration is used to warn off potential predators of the danger, and is also used to attract mates. They are very social, and can often be seen preening in large groups.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lofzix is a Bright-Breasted wyvern that has a very unique form of defense. The poisonous barbs on her feet have a poison that, instead of causing pain or illness, has a much more devastating effect for the large predators that attempt to eat her. When a creature is struck by her barbs, the toxin actually makes the victim shrink in size! The victim tends to shrink anywhere from half their size to a tenth of their size, depending on the amount of poison injected. This allows Lofzix to hunt the hunter! If the barbs are accidentally poked, the victim still shrinks, but Lofzix doesn't turn to eat them. Instead, she laughs at their misfortune and wishes them "good luck to stay away from your prey!" as she flies away. The poison usually wears off in 24 hours, but some dragons have stayed small for up to a month! She'd rather have her poison than the normal poison most of her species do, as she loves the misfortune that she causes.
