Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

7WhYS is always asking questions and hopes to encourage curiosity and specificity in others. Her goal is not practical knowledge—in fact, she tends to avoid knowledge with practical purposes. Of course, questions are of no use without answers, so she happily answers what questions she can. She has founded the Seven Questions University and serves as headmaster, keeping her staff and students asking and answering the most outrageous and oddly specific questions imaginable—from Dr. Pinkette Girlicue's investigations into hues and femininity to Dr. wzDNA's research into the soular code.

Regardless of her personal opinions, she encourages all kinds of questions and divides them into seven (her favourite number) categories. They are, in order of 7WhYS's preference:

- Impractical

- Humorous

- Unanswerable

- Oddly Specific

- Fundamental

- Mundane

- Practical
