Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

GwythienGwaed means "Blood Vein," after her albino coloring. A fairly young dragon, she is wise beyond her years. She has always been strange and distant, and even as a hatchling she preferred to watch her fellows from afar rather than join their play. Now an adult, she has proven her worth through her abilities in prophecy and psychic manipulation, and is one of the head advisors to the queen NosOriadur and the royal kin. GwythienGwaed is naturally quiet and reserved, and she tends to alarm the other dragons in the Flight with her brooding presence and blood-red gaze, as well as the air of mysticism that surrounds her. She enjoys cultivating her unsettling and emotionless demeanor. She is a very solitary dragon and does not enjoy company, so she tends to sequester herself away in a separate cave, away from the others in her Flight. Hatchlings make her nervous, and whenever one shows up she makes haste to be elsewhere. She has feelings for SynnuFfortiwn, but is afraid to express them.
