White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Whitewood is a very peaceful dragon. She will never raise her voice or say an unkind word, and she is friends with almost every dragon in the Asterian clan. She has been assigned to to duty of taking care of the hatchlings, but she does much more than that—cooking meals, cleaning others' dens, and keeping order in the clan are just a few of the things she does. The clan leader insists that she shouldn't load herself with work, but she never listens.

Whitewood is mated to Red Warhorse, and together they've had lots of children. Her mate wants more, but she considers all of the hatchlings in the clan her children and she loves them all very much. She is a member of the medic team, and specializes in treating roughscale and the sneezles.
