Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Perihan and her Paper hatchling friend are a strange pair that the other dragons don't know what to think about.  They don't eat, they don't mate, and they don't fight.  Mostly they just fly around, drifting on the breeze.  The matriarch of the clan has given them her blessing to stay there and take advantage of their protection, but no one is sure why.  They don't seem to contribute anything.  But most of the dragons do admit that they are a strange and lovely sight, and some enjoy just watching them twist and turn in the air.
