Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Deborah had been born into a very small family, and soon tired of their company and their petty obsessions. So one day she decided to leave them and began exploring the habitat along the coastline. She became fascinated with the fish that surrounded her, but despite the wonder of her environment she still felt lonely. It would be nice to have a friend to talk to now and then.

So it was that when she reached Clementine, exploring the sea loch she had found, she decided to introduce herself to the inhabitants. Deborah seemed very friendly and enthusiastic when she talking to others, but liked to spend most of her time swimming in the loch, singing to the fishes.

This time was spent alone until one day Isaac, another Waterhorse, joined in her song. They now have a daughter called Gertrude, who loves exploring even more than her mother.

Deborah still loves to swim, but now spends more time talking than swimming. One might almost believe she is more interested in dragons than fish!
