Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Steve was found as an egg, washed up on a desolate beach and half-frozen from the currents. The Steves brought him to a small pond (where they used to keep fish for food until the mime discovered much more tasty things growing on trees nearby) and Junior sat on him to keep him warm until he hatched. Thanks to the efforts of all the Steves (and the noble sacrifices of the pond fish) Steve grew into a fine, if a bit small, specimen of a Bluna, and even found a mate among the Steves. To this day, the Steves maintain that he is perfectly happy, despite not living among other Blunas, and only slightly brain-damaged.
